Why Eight Moons Exists
A Letter From The Founder
Eight Moons began during a season of rebuilding.
In 2025, life looked very different from what I had imagined. I experienced loss, change, uncertainty, and the kind of moments that make you pause and ask what truly matters.
Like many people, I found myself standing between what was and what comes next.
During that time, I returned to simple things. Long walks through London. Quiet cafés. Books that felt like companions. Handwritten notes. Creative projects that gave shape to thoughts I couldn’t always put into words.
I began to realise that some of the most meaningful moments in life are often the slowest ones.
A conversation that stays with you.A letter you read more than once.
An evening spent creating something with your hands.
A cup of coffee shared with someone who understands.
In a world that constantly asks us to move faster, produce more, and consume endlessly, I found myself longing for spaces that encouraged people to slow down and simply be.
Eight Moons was born from that feeling.
The name represents seasons, cycles, growth, and the understanding that life moves in chapters. Some chapters are joyful. Some are difficult. Some arrive unexpectedly and change us forever. Yet each one becomes part of our story.
Eight Moons is not simply a brand. It is an invitation.
An invitation to pause.
To reflect.
To create.
To connect.
To find beauty in ordinary moments.
What began as a personal creative project gradually became something larger. I started imagining a place where stories, creativity, community, and belonging could exist together.
Today, that vision begins with the Eight Moons Mail Club.
Each month, members receive a thoughtfully curated letter designed to bring a little more intention into everyday life. Through reflections, prompts, artwork, and gentle encouragement, the Mail Club creates space for stillness in a noisy world.
Every letter is created with care and sent with the hope that it might become a small moment of comfort, inspiration, or connection.
But the dream does not end there.
My vision for Eight Moons is a creative home where people gather around ideas, stories, art, books, coffee, and conversation.
A place where local artists can share their work.
Where workshops spark creativity.
Where strangers become familiar faces.
Where someone can walk through the door feeling alone and leave feeling part of something.
A Space.
A community.
A place of belonging.
Everything starts somewhere.
This website, the Mail Club, the conversations, the first subscribers, the first supporters — they are all part of the beginning.
If you have found your way here, thank you.
Whether you stay for a single letter or follow the journey for years to come, thank you for becoming part of the story.
This is where Eight Moons begins.
With Love,
